Hydraulic repair

Weak lift, slow arm, oil on the ground. Hydraulic faults are the most common cause of downtime — and the easiest to misdiagnose by swapping parts.

Questions

Repair or replace the pump?

Depends on wear. Many pumps can be repaired with a kit; some can't. We'll tell you after inspection, before you pay for a new one.

Why does the machine get weak when it's hot?

Usually internal leakage in a worn pump, valve or cylinder seal, which gets worse as oil thins. A pressure check finds which one.
